The challenge

Green Wind's international structure – particularly in Germany – made the financial operations complex.
The company previously used multiple financial systems and only limited standard functionality, which resulted in:

• Automatic VAT reporting to the German authorities
• Migration of more than 40 accounting records from the German financial system DATEV to Business Central Cloud

A crucial advantage in this setup is that Business Central provides the ability to work in the same system with an unlimited number of accounting records within the same license. This means that Green Wind has a simpler financial system that can easily be scaled.
